Antoine and Olga (Ménochet and Foïs, perfect) have moved to a remote village in Galicia where they grow organic crops and arrange old ruins to make them a farmhouse. When, by their dissenting vote, reject a project for wind turbines in the areathus shattering the dreams of prosperity of the two neighboring brothers, the distrust towards the foreigner turns into hatred.
Like in a 1970s American rural thriller, the tension that Sorogoyen builds comes straight from the opening scene in which the men of the village capture horses to cut their manes. One of the best films seen at Cannes 2022.
