The installation, made up of thousands of soft pompons, symbolizes care, connectedness and the power of people with dementia. The project is an initiative of CERA and the Dementia Vlaanderen Expertise Center in the context of the ‘Unforgettable for each other’ campaign.
“The softness of the pompons stands for the soft care that every person with dementia deserves,” says Hilde Talloen of Cera. “And just like every pompon, every person is unique and deserves that customized care.”
