Artists De Tank will have studios in the castle in Assebroek

The studio activities of the Bruges youth center Het Entrepot will move from the Provincial Government on the Burg to the country house Blydhove in Assebroek next year.

The studios on the Burg have to go because the buildings are owned by a project developer who wants to give the complex a new purpose. Blydhove is a small empty castle.

De Tank opened its doors on the Burg in 2017, after research by Het Entrepot showed that there are few affordable art studios for young people in Bruges. There were waiting lists from the start. So the demand is still greater than the supply.
