Arsi Ruuskanen’s World Cup skiing ended dully on Friday. The collision with the advertising fence resulting from the fall caused a leg injury.

On Monday evening, Ruuskanen published a picture of himself with crutches in Planica on his Instagram account.

– Friday’s skiathlon was dark, he summed up in connection with the photo.

– Of course, it’s really upsetting and frustrating, but the main thing is health. It could have been a lot worse in a collision with an advertisement.

Ruuskanen described his condition as “quite OK considering the situation”.

– It’s pointless to fuss and dwell on the matter, so look positively towards the future.

Ruuskanen, 23, participated for the first time at the adult WC level.

– I will come back even harder and stronger.
