According to reports, the Gunners pay a total package of up to 20 million euros – 15 million are guaranteed. The 21-year-old Spaniard traveled for the medical check on Tuesday morning and the last formalities to London and at the same time looked at the approaching farewell from FC Valencia with melancholy. Or as the “Marca” put it: “With a sleepy face and a mixture of sadness and excitement. Christian Mosquera appeared at the private flight terminal of Valencia at seven in the morning.”

Mosquera, which is to receive a long -term contract with Arsenal, had said goodbye to the teammates in Valencia on Monday and grabbed his things after an agreement between the two clubs was mentioned. “Valencia is my home and will always stay here. I came here at the age of twelve and now go as a man, a bit sad because you have spent your whole life here, but that’s how the decisions in football are. Now a new stage begins, it goes on,” said the defender when leaving the training area, according to the Spanish leaf.
When asked about his transfer, Mosquera did not yet want to comment in detail, but only said: “I prefer that the club speaks first and then comes what needs to come. It is exciting, but also sad.” Valencia had rejected the first offer of Arsenals in the amount of 14 million euros, the Premier League representative was successful with the second attempt. The contract of self -grown Mosquera in Valencia is dated to 2026. Last season, the Youngster stood in all 37 games in the starting eleven and always went over the full distance. Only one game missed the long -running favorite, the market value of which is estimated at 30 million euros.
In the negotiations with RB Leipzig, this was also the transfer request thrown into the ring by the Spaniards, it said. Too much for the Bundesliga club, which is why after consultation with the new coach Ole Werner was taken away from an obligation. In the team of Valencias coach Carlos Corberán, Mosquera leaves a large gap with his departure, especially since with Yarek Gasiorowski (20), another talented defender made a departure for PSV Eindhoven for EUR 9.8 million. According to reports, Valencia is said to have hoped for an extension with Mosquera. At Arsenal, this will soon become a fourth newcomer, the expenses are thus exceeding the 100 million euro brand.
