On Saturday night, several people were arrested in Berlin-Mitte at an unauthorized rally.

Shortly before midnight, around 50-100 people gathered between the Russian Embassy Unter den Linden and the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin-Mitte who lit candles, carried Palestine flags and traditional Palestinian scarves.

The officers deployed stopped the unauthorized rally. There are said to have been expressions of displeasure, including against Israel. There was a scuffle with the officers.

The women and men at the rally, including not only Palestinians but also several left-wing young adults, were recorded in a so-called police processing street. In some cases, advertisements were also issued.

A young man with several outstanding arrest warrants was arrested near the Russian Embassy.
