Captain fails
Arminia Bielefeld has to do without center forward Fabian Klos for “several weeks”. The 34-year-old captain was diagnosed with a severe muscle injury in his right thigh, as the second division club from East Westphalia announced on Tuesday.
Klos was substituted on in the 1-1 draw at Darmstadt 98 last Sunday after an hour when the score was 0-1, but was unable to continue in the 85th minute. Since Bielefeld had already made five changes at this point, the team continued to play with a man down and still managed to equalize late through Robin Hack. For Klos it was the seventh game after his serious head injury in April.
