Bielefeld (dpa) – Where the journey will lead after eleven years in Bielefeld at the end of the season is still completely unclear for Arminia’s record scorer Fabian Klos.
“I’m completely open. I feel the need to do something different, to get to know a new city, a new club,” said the 34-year-old center forward of the East Westphalian Bundesliga soccer team. “I may be in the autumn of my career – but in early autumn.”
There are private reasons why the center of his life will be Cologne in the future, but not necessarily next summer. His girlfriend is from Cologne, and a baby is expected in the next few months. As far as a new employer is concerned, everything is possible. “I don’t rule out anything and let myself be surprised by what’s in store for me,” said Klos.
