A coffee shop was robbed at Zuideinde in Meppel last night. The saleswoman was threatened with a stabbing weapon, the police report.
The robbery happened around 9:20 p.m. The suspect, dressed in dark and with a scarf covering his face, fled with the contents of the cash register and drugs. It is not known how much money was stolen.
After the robbery, the suspect left the coffee shop ‘in peace’, the police wrote. “It is not known in which direction he left. We have requested camera images and these are being examined.”
