At the local police of the Oostende Zone, a report entered on Saturday around 5.45 pm. For the time being, the public prosecutor has not released any information about the precise content of that report. In any case, in response to that report, the police went en masse to the surroundings of the Muscarstraat, a side street of the Torhoutsesteenweg. During the intervention, five men were finally arrested around 8.15 pm on an apartment in the Muscarstraat. No injuries would have fallen on the intervention.
Further research will have to show exactly how the fork is on the stem. The public prosecutor will also have to decide on a possible preparation of the arrested men.
