Aris Thessaloniki strengthens with Andre Gray – once-record acquisition from Watford

Aris Thessaloniki has announced the signing of Andre Gray (31). The striker comes to Greece on a free transfer from Watford FC and has signed a four-year deal. Watford paid the then club-record fee of €20.4m for the striker to Burnley FC in 2017, where Gray had previously had his best period and contributed 23 goals in the 2015/16 promotion season in the Championship.

For Watford there were 20 goals in 124 appearances. However, Gray recently played his most successful season since leaving Burnley on loan in the second division QPR in London, where he scored ten goals for the first time in double figures.
