The premiere of the music video for “yes, and?” will follow on January 12th at 4 p.m.
Almost four years after her last solo album POSITIONS, Ariana Grande is releasing new music again. “yes, and?” is the first song from their seventh studio record, which will be released this year. The pop singer recently announced that she has already finished the upcoming album.
Uptempo and Madonna vibes
The 30-year-old addressed criticism and rumors of the last few years with the uptempo track and uses classic house sound from the 90s. The beat and melody by Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh are reminiscent of Madonna’s “Vogue” and clearly set “yes, and?” apart from their previous projects. On Instagram, Grande teased her new music with several studio posts at the end of 2023 and published a blurry photo a few days ago showing half of her face with red lipstick. The latter is the cover art of “yes, and?”

The 30-year-old pop star confirmed that the upcoming seventh album will not bear the name of the lead single, as some fans had previously suspected. A release date has not yet been set.
