A football match between BVV from Den Bosch and DESO from Oss got completely out of hand on Sunday when a supporter ran onto the field and started swatting. The situation escalated into a massive brawl, during which a father of a DESO player lost a large part of his ear. On Sunday night, a storm surprised several places in Brabant with significant damage, even though no code yellow had been issued. Meteorologist Wouter van Bernebeek explains that the damage was very localized and short-lived, in the middle of the night. The weather was caused by a cold front with wind shear, typical of the summer season.
