A Dutchman hit a German naked swimmer until he bled with a large knife on the head. The perpetrator fled in a red car: the Belgian police are looking for him.
The argument started on Monday evening around 10 p.m., when a man and a woman with a child wanted to eat an ice cream by the canal. Nearby, a group of men was swimming naked. The couple asked the men to put on their pants, after which, according to witnesses, an altercation ensued and there were even blows.
Hospital
One of those involved was a man who walked to a Dutch car and took a large knife from it. With that he hit one of the naked swimmers – a German – on the head.
He was so injured that he had to be taken to hospital for treatment. The man with the knife had since fled in his car. Late Monday evening he was still missing, the police are trying to find him.
