Bomb threat: footballer removed from plane

In Argentina, a second division team wants to travel to an away game. But the plane cannot take off because a player suddenly warns of a bomb.
The Argentine second division defender Emiliano Endrizzi caused a scandal. When his team San Salvador de Jujuy wanted to fly to Buenos Aires on Saturday to play an away game, Endrizzi suddenly shouted “bomb”. Several Argentine media report this unanimously. But this could now have serious consequences for Endrizzi. According to media reports, the club is considering terminating the player’s contract. According to a club statement, the federal judiciary is also looking into the case. The club announced full cooperation. “The club expressly makes it clear that, if this were to be confirmed, it would be a purely individual statement that has nothing to do with the values and behavior that the club stands for,” the club statement also says.
