The reigning world champion Argentina has signed a new 3-year contract with Coach Lionel Scaloni.
Scaloni, 44, who became the head of the Argentina National Team in 2018 and won 3 trophies during this time, extended his contract with Tango players until 2026. The new contract has been officially announced by the Argentine Football Federation.
Reaching the championship at the 2022 FIFA World Cup held in Qatar, Scaloni won the Copa America in 2021 and Finalissima in 2022 with the Argentina National Team.
Tango players, who played 57 matches with Scaloni, achieved 40 wins, 12 draws and 5 losses in these matches.
