Arend Jan Wonink will be the new director of Broadcasting Organization Groningen (OOG) in Groningen.
The city channel has that on Monday morning announced.
Wonink is therefore the successor of Evert Janse, who will retire on July 1.
Arend Jan Wonink is currently a communications advisor at the municipality of Het Hogeland. Previously he was head of marketing and communication at Vrijdag and councilor for D66.
Wonink is no stranger to OOG; from 2006 to 2010 he presented the radio program OOG Forum, among other things.
