Head referee of the Australian Open semi-final match between Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas pissed off the Russian tennis player. The referee did not react in any way to the advice of the Greek father, which periodically came from the podium.
The Russian asked the judge: “Are you stupid?” When he turned away, Medvedev said harshly: “Look at me, I’m talking to you.” The tennis player was indignant why the referee did not warn Father Tsitsipas for inappropriate behavior.
Recall that Medvedev in four sets beat the Greek tennis player and made it to the Australian Open final. In the final, he will meet with the Spaniard Rafael Nadal.
