A theater tour with full halls yields a lot of money. Lots of money. And so all successful comedians in our country are ample multi -millionaire. Guido Weijers is also among the lucky ones. Guido is therefore still a celebrated comedian. “I have everything I want, I play in the largest halls, so there is nothing on my wish list anymore. Guido said he has remained very normal. “The jeans that I wear have not become more expensive, I still just walk on sneakers and not on Italian designer slippers.”
Where does all the money go then? “I put my money in real estate, because success means freedom for me. The freedom to do and leave what I want, with the people I like. That is possible if you can just live. I am not of the luxury, but I am comfortable. ”
Cottage fancier

Guido then says: “I live in Breda, have a holiday farm in South Limburg and an apartment in Amsterdam. I could earn well with that, but I am such a fool that does not necessarily rent it out. I am too lax for that. In my native village I bought a building that I had converted into a restaurant. ”
“That is not the best revenue model, unless I had popped plaster walls in it and had made ten apartments. But I thought: how cool is it if in my native village in a place where there is now nothing is a terrace, that it lives when I bike there? That was a dream – and that worked. “
