The hard rock legend is scheduled to perform in a charity campaign of her singer Steven Tyler in February

After a few shifts, the band canceled the remaining 39 appointments last August and announced their retreat from the live business because Tyler could not recover from his injury.
Now, however, it is likely that the band will come back together in early February for a special appearance as part of Tyler’s charity event “Jam for Janie”. The sixth annual event will take place on February 2 at the Hollywood Palladium on the Sunset Boulevard from Los Angeles.
How “Billboard” reports, the band will appear at the event, in which form is not yet known. At “Jam for Janie”, Billy Idol, Joan Jett, Linda Perry, Matt Sorum (ex-Gun n ‘Roses) and Nuno Bettencourt (extreme) will also be on stage.
Aerosmith: Support for Charity Fund
The shows support Tylers after the band’s 1989 hit, “Janie’s Got a Gun”, named aid fund “Janie’s Fund”, who helps young women in the USA who have become victims of abuse and neglect. This year, some of the donations taken will also be given to organizations that are committed to combating the forest fires in LA.
Aerosmith bass player Tom Hamilton in one Interview with the Boston radio station Wburthat the band members could “do something” together if Tyler were willing to do so. “We don’t know what the future brings,” he said, “but it will not contain any tours.” Hamilton also said that he “cannot imagine” that the band continues with a new singer and added: ” I am sure that we all have music in our future and it will manifest itself in a way that we cannot plan today. I played with some good friends in a band. We have a bunch of really good songs and we hope that we will publish them soon and hopefully have a few appearances. ”
