At the start of the new DFB Cup season, four games are shown on freely receiving television. In addition to the encounters with Supercup participants Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart, two traditional duels also run live on TV.
As can be seen from the establishment of the German Football Association, ZDF will broadcast the game between Arminia Bielefeld and Werder Bremen on August 15 (8:45 p.m.). The East Westphalia are back in the 2nd league after the ascent and receive the Bundesliga club in the 1st round.
