The researchers found the lower jaw of an early human species. The jawbone is therefore one of the oldest human remnants that were ever found outside of Africa.

And that is interesting because they believe that the remains can give a glimpse into how the gay erectus started to migrate from Africa about two million years ago. According to scientists, it can accurately study the jaw crucial answers about how early person evolved after he left Africa, including what he ate and how the climate was.

“The study of the early human and fossil animal remains from Orozmani will enable us to determine the lifestyle of the first settlers of Erazia,” said Giorgi Bidzinashvili, professor of archeology from the State University in Tbilisi. “We think Orozmani can give us a lot of information about humanity.”

Human tooth

In the same region, archaeologists already found a human tooth from the same period in 2022 and a human skull was also found in a nearby village of 1.8 million years ago.

During this last excavation, the archaeologists also found fossils of animals, including the saber -tooth tiger, an elephant, a wolf, a deer and a giraffe. They also found a lot of stone tools.
