The President of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonèshas defended this Monday that the next step in the negotiation with the Government is reform the crime of embezzlement during the parliamentary procedure of the modification of the Penal Code that repeals the sedition.
In an interview with RAC 1, the `president’ has maintained that in 2015 the embezzlement was modified and aspects that until then were not a crime were incorporated, for which he has opted to “reverse this situation” so that the 1-O cannot be considered embezzlement.

Aragonès has argued that the reform of the Penal Code manages to “reduce the margin of discretion” of the judges and that none of the independentistas affected by justice worsens their situation.
