Appointments Director-General for Nature and Fisheries at LNV | News item

drs. DLM (Donné) Slangen will become Director-General for Nature and Fisheries at the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV). The Council of Ministers has approved the nomination on the proposal of Minister Bruins Slot of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment will take effect on December 15, 2022.

Donné Slangen has been Director of Nature at the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality since December 2018 and Acting Director-General of Nature and Fisheries since early 2022. Before that, he held the position of Director of Spatial Planning and Water at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. Previously, he was director of Regional Accessibility and Safe Transport at the then Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment and director of Policy Program Accelerating Decision-Making Infrastructure at the then Ministries of V&W and VROM.

Donné Slangen studied Economic Geography at Utrecht University.

This appointment was made on the basis of the procedure for the top management group of the General Administrative Service.
