Judith Duveen and Joost Brouwer will join the UWV Board of Directors on November 1, 2025. Minister Mariëlle Paul of Social Affairs and Employment announced the appointment today in the Council of Ministers. With these appointments, the UWV Board of Directors is complete again.
Judith Duveen has been general director of the Werkbedrijf division of UWV since 2023. Previously, she was Director of Work and Participation at the Municipality of Amsterdam and held positions at various ministries, including the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. She will have services and Work and Income in her portfolio.
Joost Brouwer was a board member at Knab bank until April 2025. Previously, he held several positions within ABN Amro and was a member of the Supervisory Board of Kredietbank Nederland. He takes care of social-medical services.
