VJM (Vincent) Roozen becomes Secretary General at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The Council of Ministers has approved the nomination on the proposal of Minister De Jonge of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment takes effect on February 1, 2024.
Vincent Roozen has been municipal secretary and general director at the municipality of Rotterdam since October 2018. Before that, he held various other management positions at the municipality of Rotterdam. He was, among other things, group director Work & Income, director of Public Health & Care, director of the Municipal Health Service Rotterdam-Rijnmond and director of Spatial Planning, Traffic and Transport. Vincent Roozen studied Human Geography and Planning at Utrecht University.
This appointment was made through the procedure for the top management group of the General Administrative Service.
