Gerda Quak becomes deputy secretary general at the Ministry of Finance. The Council of Ministers has approved the nomination on the proposal of Minister De Jonge of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment takes effect on November 1, 2023.
GAM (Gerda) Quak RA has been Director of Operations since 2018 and also Deputy Secretary-Director at the Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier. From 2014 to 2018 she held the position of Director of Organization, Operations and Personnel at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. From 2009 to 2013 she was Director of Tax Information Management at the Ministry of Finance. She previously held various positions at the Tax Authorities, Customs and the FIOD.
Gerda Quak is a chartered accountant and she completed the Executive Master’s degree in Information Management at the University of Amsterdam up to the master’s thesis.
This appointment was made through the procedure for the top management group of the General Administrative Service.
