J. (Jacco) van der Tak MSc BEc will be the new mayor of the municipality of Barneveld. At the proposal of Minister Bruins Slot of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the Council of Ministers has decided to nominate him for appointment. The appointment will take effect on 9 February 2023.
Mr Van der Tak (40 years old) is a member of the CDA and he is currently director of Communications & Corporate Affairs at the Dutch Railways.
Jan Luteijn (SGP) is currently acting mayor of the municipality of Barneveld.
