mr. LJ (Laetitia) Griffith has been nominated as a member of the Electoral Council with effect from 1 July 2022. The Council of Ministers has approved this nomination on the proposal of Minister Bruins Slot of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. Laetitia Griffith follows prof. mr. JE (Jacobine) van den Brink, who has been a member of the Electoral Council since 2017.
Laetitia Griffith (1965) is a member of the Supervisory Board of ABN AMRO, the Supervisory Board of TenneT TSO GmbH and the Supervisory Board of NL Filmfonds, among others. She chairs the Board of Trustees of Save the Children. From 2015 to 2019, she was Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KPMG. Between 2011 and 2016 she was State Councilor of the Advisory Division of the Council of State. Until 2010 she was a member of the House of Representatives and alderman for finance and economic affairs in Amsterdam for the VVD.
The Council of Ministers has also approved the nomination for reappointment of Electoral Council members Ronald Prins and Hestia Reukema with effect from 1 October 2022. Both have been members of the Electoral Council since 2018.
