Mr. A. (Aart) van der Vlist will become a consultant at ABDTOPConsult at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The Council of Ministers has approved the nomination on the proposal of Minister Bruins Slot of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. The appointment will take effect on September 1, 2023.
Aart van der Vlist has been Director of Information Provision and Chief Information Officer at the Police since 1 June 2021. Before that, he was a director/CIO at the UWV. Previously he worked as CIO for Nationale Nederlanden and as senior partner IT management in the financial markets at KPMG Consulting.
Aart van der Vlist followed various studies in IT, EDP Auditing and Consulting at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and the Free University in Amsterdam.
This appointment was made through the procedure for the top management group of the General Administrative Service.
