Mr. R. (Randolf) Duggins becomes the state council at the Council of State of the Kingdom for Sint Maarten. The Rijksministerraad has agreed to the nomination on the proposal of Prime Minister Mcelina van Sint Maarten, in close consultation with the Council of State of the Kingdom. The appointment starts on October 1, 2025.
Mr Duggins succeeds Mrs. MC van der Sluijs-Plantz who held this position until April of this year. He was born on Sint Eustatius and is currently fulfilling the position of Secretary General of the Bureau of the Ombudsman Sint Maarten. He has extensive experience in both the public sector of Sint Maarten and the private sector.
In the Advisory Department of the Council of State of the Kingdom, the members of the Advisory Department of the Council of State Plus are the three members designated by the countries Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
