Mr. Dr. M. den Heyer will become State Councilor in the Administrative Jurisdiction Division. The Council of Ministers has approved the proposal of Minister Bruins Slot of the Interior and Kingdom Relations to nominate him for appointment. The appointment will take effect on 15 September 2023.
Maarten den Heyer is currently an associate professor of international law at the University of Amsterdam. He is also a deputy judge at the multiple aliens division of the Court of Central Netherlands.
