Apple raises App Store prices

You will have to pay more for apps in the future.

App Store price levels will be changed in October. PDO

Apple has announced in its announcement that it will change the prices of the App Store application store on October 5. The change applies to all euro countries, including Finland.

Apple has set price levels for apps and in-app purchases that app developers must adhere to. Apple is raising these price levels. For example, price level 1 increases from 0.99 euros to 1.19 euros, price level 2 increases from 1.99 euros to 2.49 euros and price level 10 increases from 9.99 euros to 11.99 euros.

You can see the new price levels in Apple’s table from here.

According to Apple, the price change will not affect the prices of automatic orders.

Apple has changed the pricing of applications in the past. Last year, the company reduced prices in the euro area to adjust them to exchange rates and taxes. Apple has not given an official reason for the price increase this year, but the background is probably the weakening of the euro against the dollar.
