Antti Luusuaniemi remembers Vesa-Matti Loir

The late Vesa-Matti Loir is remembered at the Red Carpet festival founded by Antti Luusuaniemi.

Actor Antti Luusuaniemi founded by the Red Carpet film festival, the late entertainment legend is remembered Vesa-Matti Loiria.

– You can’t help but remember Loir, says Luusuaniemi, becoming quiet.

Loiri died on August 10 of liver and esophagus cancer at the age of 77.

Luusuaniemi believes that the importance of the Loir has been great for Finns.

– Loir has a huge meaning for my career and the careers of many other performing artists. Even if he is not in the industry, Loiri has certainly touched all Finns in one way or another, either through film, theater, music or something else.

The event will include, among other things, a film screening dedicated to Loir The Howling Miller. The festival will be organized this year for the sixth time. Loir has also been remembered at the festival before, when in 2018 he was the first to get his own star on the festival’s star track at the same time as actor Outi Mäenpää.

– Let’s go back to those feelings a bit and then remember Vesku in a big way, says Luusuaniemi.

The Howling Miller will be shown at the Red Carpet festival on August 27.
