It is a symbolic journey through the history of a brand which, with continuous innovations, has revolutionized the world of high-performance brakes, from Formula 1 to MotoGP, naturally also including motocross. The key moment, however, came with the transfer to Racing Factory of Curnothe beating heart of the Lombard brand where Marchesini calipers, discs, brake master cylinders, clutch master cylinders and even Marchesini rims are created. It was in fact here that Cairoli, together with Ciabatti, was able to see first-hand the production processes that give life to the most advanced braking systems, the same ones that equip the Desmo450 MX with whom Ducati aims to leave its mark also inoff-road.

The nine-time world champion was thus able to closely observe the precision and passion that animate it Brembo engineers and techniciansthus going back to the origins of that feeling of trust that accompanied him throughout career. “In motocross, every lap there is a surprise – he then observed – you can study the track as much as you want, but a pothole or the arrival of rain is enough to change everything. In the midst of this uncertainty, Brembo has always been my fixed point. These brakes have always given me the confidence to push even when the bike was dancing under me or the ground was unforgiving. I have won a lot with these components, but only today, seeing up close how they are created, do I really understand how much passion And precision are behind it. For us drivers, trusting the brakes means everything. And with Brembo this trust has always been there.”
