With nine world titles under his belt, a career that has written indelible pages in the history of motocross and a present that continues to smell of competitions, the Sicilian ace is and will always remain a legend in the world of two knobby wheels. Today involved in the ambitious motocross project of Ducati CorseCairoli visited the headquarters of Bremboabsolute excellence in the field of automotive brakes, accompanied by Paolo Ciabattigeneral manager of Ducati Off-Road. The day opened with a visit to the main headquarters, where Cairoli was able to admire the celebratory wall for 50 years of Brembo Racing. It is a symbolic journey through the history of a brand which, with continuous innovations, has revolutionized the world of high-performance brakes, from Formula 1 to MotoGP, naturally also including motocross. The key moment, however, came with the transfer to Racing Factory of Curnothe beating heart of the Lombard brand where Marchesini calipers, discs, brake master cylinders, clutch master cylinders and even Marchesini rims are created. It was in fact here that Cairoli, together with Ciabatti, was able to see first-hand the production processes that give life to the most advanced braking systems, the same ones that equip the Desmo450 MX with whom Ducati aims to leave its mark also inoff-road.
