Antibody discovered as ‘master key’: could neutralize all variants of coronavirus

Scientists have discovered a particle of the spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that appears to be shared by all known variants. At the same time, they found a fragment of an antibody that can attach to it and, in theory, prevent the coronavirus from entering human cells. It paves the way for future treatments that could neutralize all variants of the coronavirus.
