Anthropic is apparently planning its IPO as early as October. With strong partners like NVIDIA, Google and Microsoft, the IPO could raise over $60 billion.

• Anthropic IPO apparently as early as October 2026
• Cooperations with large tech companies such as NVIDIA
• High market value expected

The US AI manufacturer Anthropic, known for the chatbot Claude, is apparently planning to go public in October, as Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with the matter. The company is thus entering direct competition with OpenAI, which is also preparing an IPO.

Initial discussions with leading Wall Street banks are already underway. The insiders report, according to Bloomberg, that Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley are being considered for key roles in the listings of Anthropic and OpenAI. The information comes from unnamed sources because the plans are not yet public.

NVIDIA, Microsoft and Co: Billion dollar valuation thanks to strong partners

Anthropic was recently valued at $380 billion in a $30 billion financing round, as the company itself announced. The company works closely with established tech companies, including Alphabet, Amazon, Microsoft and NVIDIA, who provide both capital and specialized chips and technologies.

Founded in 2021 by former OpenAI employees, including CEO Dario Amodei, Anthropic aims to develop more responsible AI than its competitors. The Claude chatbot and the underlying technology are becoming increasingly important among financial and healthcare companies as well as developers. Anthropic also plans to invest $50 billion in building its own data centers in the United States, as Bloomberg reports.

Anthropic IPO ahead: Legal hurdles and opportunities

Earlier this year, Anthropic ran afoul of the Pentagon, which deemed the company a threat to the U.S. supply chain. According to multiple media reports, the company then obtained a court order blocking the ban on government use of the technology after Anthropic argued the move could cost the company billions in lost revenue.

According to The Information, Anthropic’s IPO could raise more than $60 billion, making it one of the largest IPOs in the technology sector. With the combination of strong financial strength, strategic partnerships and clear positioning as a responsible AI provider, Anthropic should make the race for the next big AI IPO exciting – and further change the artificial intelligence market.
