Ex-Bundesliga scorer is probably moving to the third division of Spain

Anthony Modeste apparently has a new club. As the TV broadcaster Sky reports, the striker will sign at the Spanish third division club CF Intercity. Modeste receives a contract until the end of the season and should help the club to stay in the league.
The 36-year-old has been without a club since the summer of 2024 after his contract had expired in Egypt (Al Ahly). In the meantime, the former striker of 1st FC Köln and Borussia Dortmund was associated with Schalke 04.
Antony, who switched from Ajax Amsterdam to Manchester United for a transfer fee of 95 million euros in the summer of 2022, will at least temporarily leave the “Red Devils”.
