Anthony Correia played his entire career for Telstar, then became an assistant coach at the club and is now the head coach. Last season, Correia was promoted to the Premier League with Telstar for the first time in 47 years. This season, Telstar managed to surprise with two victories over national champions PSV.
“Telstar has always been more than just a club for me. I came here as a boy and have spent most of my life on and around the field. With beautiful people you make beautiful things, and we have certainly done that together in recent years, with the promotion as a highlight,” said Correia via Telstar’s official channels.
