Anta Sports and the hotel chain Hyatt are planning a hotel for Fila, a brand of the Chinese sports goods company.
The first ‘Fila House’ will open in Shanghai’s West Hongqiao Business District, the companies announced in late February. It will be part of Anta Group’s new Shanghai headquarters. The headquarters consists of five independent buildings housing the main office, stores and restaurants. The opening should be completed by 2024.
“We are excited to be collaborating with Hyatt on the world’s first Fila-branded lifestyle hotel. Not only will the hotel be a unique expression of Fila’s history, culture, products and fashion trends, but we believe that the young-at-heart JdV by Hyatt brand experience will appropriately reflect Fila’s vital spirit,” said Brian Yiu, CEO of Fila China.
Fila was founded in Biella, Italy in 1911 and offers clothing and accessories in the fields of sportswear and lifestyle.
