Gamblers Cast -podcast host Juha Perälä43, sports and media personality Aleksi Valavuori47, and ex-alpine skier Kalle Palander48, discuss, among other things, patriotism.
Perälä starts to talk about how patriotism can be seen in the United States, for example, in the way that flags are flown all the time everywhere in the country, while in Finland there are separate flag days. The comparison makes the topic escalate into a love theme.
– Heh [amerikkalaiset] they also say “I love you” all the time. After all, we only say “I love you” in a bar to get on, Perälä reflects in the episode.
– I’ve never tried that punchline, Palander laughs.
Palander asks Perälä if he has ever fallen in love during a bar evening.
– I’ll be there for a while, Perälä answers.
– Love ends when the itch leaves, Palander says.

Palander’s words cause the room to fall silent and Perälä’s mouth to fall open. After a silence, Valavuori scrunches up his face, laughs a little and gives feedback to Palander.
– Why do you have to, Kalle, always shoot the fuck over everything? So fuck everything, Valavuori says in frustration.
– It sounded somehow different in my head, Palander defends.
– Keep it there, don’t let it out, Perälä asks.
– The guy who said this to me called me for the first time in years, Palander explains.
– And now you’re still trying to throw someone else under the bus, Valavuori says.
Previous speeches
At the beginning of the year, Palander found himself in the middle of an uproar when he made vulgar comments about female athletes in the same podcast.
– I like it Clean up ( From the ear ), Palander said in the talk show.
– Puts a strap-on on it and then pulls me in the ass.

Palander also said that it is rare for a cross-country skier to be beautiful.
The ex-alpine skier also said that he proposed to his colleague Tanja Poutiainen starting a family.
– I tried to suggest that it wouldn’t be easier to take care of our affairs if we were together. We would have the same partners and a detached house. (Manager Martti ) New house shouted at that, fuck Palander, if you touch Poutiainen, I’ll kill you.
Aleksi Valavuori asked in the program if Poutiainen himself was not asked anything.
– Well, I guess not. Do you have to ask a woman for permission to do something like that? Palander said.
Palander was thrown out of Yle’s expert duties after his rude remarks. Some saw Palanderinki’s comments mostly as humor, but many thought the man crossed the line. For example, an ex-top skier Aino-Kaisa Saarinen and Palander’s former manager Martti Uusitalo condemned the ex-alpine skier’s words.
