Another Palestinian teen killed by Israeli army in West Bank | Israel Palestine

A bullet struck the teenager in the neck, the health ministry in Ramallah said. The boy was taken to hospital, where he succumbed. The murder “is part of a series of crimes and field executions carried out by the occupation forces,” the Palestinian health ministry said in a statement.

The Israeli army says soldiers opened fire after some suspects threw rocks and Molotov cocktails at soldiers “who were conducting routine security operations” in the region. The incident is under investigation, it said.

It is not clear whether the teen was effectively involved in the clashes.

Dozens dead

Israeli troops or armed civilians have killed at least 46 Palestinians, both militants and civilians, since the beginning of the year. Defense for Children International-Palestine data shows that at least eight victims were children.

Since March, Palestinians have killed 18 people, including civilians, police officers and a security guard, in attacks in Israel and the West Bank.
