The German national team is doing a test in the Netherlands in preparation for the Women’s World Cup. The opponent for a home game shortly after is still open.
On Good Friday (April 7th, 2023) the team of national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg is due to play in the Netherlands. It will be held at Fortuna Sittard’s stadium. “After Sweden, the Netherlands is another top player on the way to the World Cup“Voss-Tecklenburg said in a statement from the German Football Association (DFB).
On April 11th there will be another test in Nuremberg against “a high profile opponent“, according to the DFB. However, neither opponents nor kick-off time have yet been determined.
World Cup in Australia and New Zealand
The Women’s World Cup will be held in Australia and New Zealand from July 20th to August 20th. Germany meets Morocco, Colombia and South Korea in the preliminary round.
