Another fatal accident: Ghost driver collides with camper on E40 in Zandvoorde
The wrong-way driver, a 31-year-old man from Ostend, was killed. The camper’s occupants were taken to hospital with serious injuries. More information about the exact circumstances will in principle follow later today. The accident immediately caused a long traffic jam as far as Oudenburg. All traffic on the E40 in the direction of Ostend must leave the highway via the Bruges junction. The Flemish Traffic Center reports that the road is blocked and the disruption may be of long duration.
