An Irish village was shocked last weekend by a violent row in which a Dutch man was seriously injured. His wife, Irishwoman Annie Heyneman, did not survive the attack, various Irish media report. The suspect, who has now been arrested, is a good acquaintance of the couple. “He cried on the bus and didn’t say anything else,” says an eyewitness.
