The situation of American actress Anne Heche is currently “stable”, reported her spokesperson to website on Saturday people. Heche was taken to hospital in critical condition after her car crashed into a home.
“Anne is currently stable,” said her spokesperson. “Her family and friends ask you to pray for her and think of her and we hope her privacy is respected during this difficult time.”
The 53-year-old actress has suffered burns and is on a ventilator, writes the entertainment website people. According to the LA Times the authorities assume that Heche was under the influence when she drove her car into the house on Friday morning (local time). There were no other injuries.
The fire brigade, with 59 employees, took more than an hour to extinguish the house fire that had broken out as a result of the accident.
