The actress’s car caught fire after crashing at high speed into a house in Los Angeles
american actress Anne Heche, 53, is hospitalized in critical condition after the vehicle in which she was traveling crashed into a house in the city of Los Angeles, according to local media reports such as CNN, the TMZ portal and Fox 32. The interpreter was at the controls of a blue Mini Cooper that went off the road and started a fire when it hit a house at high speed. The Los Angeles Fire Department took more than an hour to gain access to the vehicle after first dousing the flames.
Luckily, no one was where the car entered until it stopped and caught fire, as the firefighters were able to verify.
Heche rose to fame in the late 1980s with her portrayal of Vicky Hudson and Marley Love on the soap opera ‘Another World’ and established herself in Hollywood with the movies ‘Donnie Brasco’ (1997), ‘volcano’ (1997), ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ (1997), ‘Six days and seven nights’ (1998).
The actress had a famous relationship with presenter Ellen DeGeneres. Their romance, the first in Hollywood between two famous lesbians, made them one of the couples most persecuted by photographers since they announced their love in 1997 until they broke up in 2000. The end of that relationship coincided with the decline of Heche’s popularity. She later married and had a son with cameraman Coleman Laffon whom she separated years later to join actor James Tupper with whom she had another son.
