The 20-year-old clocked a time of 1:05.58 at the Pro Swim Series in San Antonio, Texas, 38-hundredths of a second faster in the 100-meter final than her previous best in the heat. Elendt from SG Frankfurt took second place behind world record holder Lilly King from the USA.
Elendt had already set the standard time for participation in the World Championships in Budapest (June 18th to July 3rd) and the European Championships in Rome (August 11th to 21st).
