The car had to be lifted to get her under the car. She was then taken to hospital by air ambulance. The Safety Region asks that the emergency services be given space.

The Rescue Team had been called by the Bloemendaal rescue brigade because of a seal on the beach. The woman was initially taking pictures of the seal, later lay down on her towel, which the driver of the Rescue Team did not see. This is reported by the Bloemendaal rescue brigade.
