Several top European clubs have apparently thrown an eye on Stuttgart’s Angelo Stiller. And VfB does not have the last word in an offer in the summer of 2026.
National player Angelo Stiller apparently has an exit clause in the contract. As the “Sport Bild” writes in its current edition, the 23-year-old midfielder has such a contract option of 36.5 million euros. However, this only grabs in 2026.
However, the report with information from the “Stuttgarter Nachrichten” contradicts itself. In the course of the extension, these reported that Stiller cannot leave VfB for a fixed transfer. Stuttgart’s CEO Alexander Wehrle was recently covered in an interview with “Transfermarkt.de”: “I said that we have extended with some national players without exit clause. I don’t have to say more.”
Which professionals he means exactly remained unclear. Most recently, Stuttgart extended the working papers of national players Jamie Leweling in mid -December to 2029 and Maximilian Mittelstädt at the end of August to 2028.
Stiller had also recently extended his contract with the Swabians by one year by 2028. With the exit clause, which may now be anchored, it could become the most expensive departure of the Swabians. There is obviously enough interest: According to media reports, FC Bayern, FC Liverpool and Atlético Madrid have an eye on quieter.
However, a change in summer should not be provided. So far, silent played 71 games for the Swabians, in which he contributed four goals and twelve templates. He is also part of the squad of the German national team. He was on the pitch three times under national coach Julian Nagelsmann.
